Procedure in the event of school closure due to severe weather conditions, or other unexpected event.

If during the course of the school day we have a reason to close the school, we will contact families via text message to the number held on your child's file. Please ensure you update us should you change your phone number. This message will be sent via Arbor.

Where we need to close the school but are able to provide notice, for example a power cut or flooding,  we will notify families via the OCC website will also show all school closures in Oxfordshire https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/residents/schools/emergency-school-closures. We will also aim to post notices on our social media feeds and on this page.

In rare cases, it may be necessary for the school to close during the day. Please ensure for safeguarding purposes that we have up-to-date emergency contact numbers as a text message will be sent in the first instance.
